قلیل جھانسوی

جب وہ جھگڑے مٹا چکے ہوں گے

خون کتنا بہا چکے ہوں گے

چاند کا زخم دیکھنے والے

شمعیں کتنی بجھا چکے ہوں گے

کل کے سپنوں کو پالنے والو

کل تو سپنے رلا چکے ہوں گے

ان کے تم دوست ہو کہ دشمن ہو

وہ جو مقتل میں جا چکے ہوں گے

بس قلیلؔ ان کی یاد باقی ہے

دشمنی جو نبھا چکے ہوں گے
