دل کو ہے درد درد کو ہے دل لئے ہوئے

دیکھا خدا پہ چھوڑ کے کشتی کو ناخدا

جیسے خود آ گیا کوئی ساحل لئے ہوئے

دیکھو ہمارے صبر کی ہمت نہ ٹوٹ جائے

تم رات دن ستاؤ مگر دل لئے ہوئے

وہ شب بھی یاد ہے کہ میں پہنچا تھا بزم میں

اور تم اٹھے تھے رونق محفل لئے ہوئے

اپنی ضروریات ہیں اپنی ضروریات

آنا پڑا تمہیں طلب دل لئے ہوئے

بیٹھا جو دل تو چاند دکھا کر کہا قمرؔ

وہ سامنے چراغ ہے منزل لئے ہوئے
