کوئی کارِ جنوں نہیں کرنا
تیرگی بھی خراج مانگے گی
لٙو سے روشن دروں نہیں کرنا
کھردرے ہاتھ دکھ کے ہیں ، لیکن
روح کو نیلگوں نہیں کرنا
بھرنے دینا اڑان بیٹے کو
اس کے پٙر بے سکوں نہیں کرنا
زندگی آرزو سےہوتی ہے
آرزووں کا خوں نہیں کرنا
شہر یاروں سے بڑھ کے جانے کون
کس کو صیدِ زبوں نہیں کرنا
