کیا اس کا گلا یورش تہمات بہت ہے
زندہ ہیں جو ہم لوگ یہی بات بہت ہے
جو تم نے بجھا ڈالے دئے ان کو جلا لو
اے صبح کے متوالو ابھی رات بہت ہے
اس واسطے گلچیں کو ہوئی مجھ سے عداوت
تزئین گلستاں میں مرا ہاتھ بہت ہے
ان فرقہ پرستوں کے دلوں میں ہے کدورت
اور ورد زباں لفظ مساوات بہت ہے
ان امن پسندوں کے پرکھنے کو کسوٹی
اس دور کی تفصیل فسادات بہت ہے
یہ بیٹوں کے سر بھائی کا خوں بہنوں کی چیخیں
عبرت ہو اگر ہم کو یہ سوغات بہت ہے
بے حس ہو جو انساں تو کہے جائیے کچھ بھی
غیرت ہو اگر دل میں تو اک بات بہت ہے
سینے سے ترے غم کو لگائے تو رکھیں گے
ناساز مگر گردش حالات بہت ہے
ہاں بیٹھو گدا بن کے برس جائے گی دولت
ان پختہ مزاروں میں کرامات بہت ہے

zinda hain jo hum log yahi baat bahut hai
jo tum ne bujha Dale diye un ko jala lo
ai subh ke matawalo abhi raat bahut hai
is waste gulchin ko hui mujh se adawat
tazin-e-gulistan mein mera hath bahut hai
un firqa-paraston ke dilon mein hai kudurat
aur wird-e-zaban lafz-e-musawat bahut hai
un amn-pasandon ke parakhne ko kasauTi
is daur ki tafsil-e-fasadat bahut hai
ye beTon ke sar bhai ka KHun bahnon ki chiKHen
ibrat ho agar hum ko ye saughat bahut hai
behis ho jo insan tu kahe jaiye kuchh bhi
ghairat ho agar dil mein to ek baat bahut hai
sine se tere gham ko lagae to rakhenge
na-saz magar gardish-e-haalat bahut hai
han baiTho gada ban ke baras jaegi daulat
in puKHta mazaron mein karamat bahut hai
