رعنا کنول

ایسا درد دے گیا وہ

الفاظ بھی نا رہے بیان کرنے کو

زمانے میں شاید یہی چل رہا ہے

وفا کا صلہ درد کی صورت میں مل رہا ہے

بےوفاؤں سے یہ دنیا آباد ہے

وفا کو ڈھونڈنا اس میں گناہ ہے

پھر بھی دل کے ہاتھوں مجبور ہیں

ایک بار پھر وفا کے لیے مجبور ہیں

محبّت میں دھوکا کھا نے کو تیار ہیں

اس درد کو ایک بار پھر سہنے کو تیار ہیں

شاید اس بےرحم کو خیال آ جائے

اور میرے دل کے درد کو کرار آ جائے

عمر بیت جائے گی کنول

اس درد کو بیان کرنے میں

بہت ہی سنگ دل تھا وہ

ایسا درد دے گیا وہ
