صرف یادیں رہ جاتی ہیں

گزرے ساتھ پلوں کی یادیں یاد آتی ہیں

اس ساتھ کے ایک ایک لمحات کی

صرف یادیں رہ جاتی ہیں

اچھی یادیں دل اداس کر جاتی ہیں

پیار بھرے لمحات آنکھوں میں بھر جاتی ہیں

صرف یادیں رہ جاتی ہیں

تلخ یادوں کی چبھن درد دے جاتی ہیں

آنسوں کے سوا کچھ نہیں دے جاتی ہیں

صرف یادیں رہ جاتی ہیں

کروٹ بدلتے پل پل میں یادیں بہت ستاتی ہیں

بے چین سا کر جاتی ہیں عجب الجھن میں ڈال جاتی ہیں

صرف یادیں رہ جاتی ہیں

ماضی کو سماے خود میں یادیں بنتی جاتی ہیں

کنول کچھ میٹھی کچھ کڑوی یادیں بن جاتی ہیں
