جلتا ہوا جو چھوڑ گیا طاق پر مجھے

جلتا ہوا جو چھوڑ گیا طاق پر مجھے

دیکھا نہ اس نے لوٹ کے پچھلے پہر مجھے

وحشت سے تھا نوازنا اتنا اگر مجھے

صحرا دیا ہے کیوں فقط آفاق بھر مجھے

میں گونجتا تھا حرف میں ڈھلنے سے پیشتر

گھیرا ہے اب سکوت نے اوراق پر مجھے

شام و سحر کی گردشیں بھی دیکھنی تو ہیں

اب چاک سے اتار مرے کوزہ گر مجھے

دریائے موج خیز بھی جس پر سوار تھا

ہونا پڑا سوار اسی ناؤ پر مجھے

مجھ میں تڑپ رہا ہے کوئی چشمۂ سکوت

ضرب عصا سے دیکھ کبھی توڑ کر مجھے

پہنچا کدھر یہاں نہ زمیں ہے نہ آسماں

اب کون سی مسافتیں کرنی ہیں سر مجھے

تھے گنج بے قیاس تہہ قلزم وجود

ڈوبا جو میں تو مل گئے لعل و گہر مجھے

جو لا سکے نہ تاب ہی میرے جنون کی

اس دشت کم سواد میں داخل نہ کر مجھے

شاید ہٹا ہے غیب کا پردہ رفیق رازؔ

آتا ہے نخل آب پہ شعلہ نظر مجھے
