رنگوں سے ٹھنڈے پانی کے چشمے بنا دئے

کاغذ پہ سایہ دار شجر بھی لگا دئے

لاؤں گا اب کہاں سے نظارے کی تاب میں

اس نے تو میری آنکھ سے پردے ہٹا دئے

باغ حروف و گلشن معنی میں دیکھنا

کس نے یہ خامشی کے نئے گل کھلا دئے

چھوٹے سے ابر پارے نے آ کے سر فلک

اہل نظر کو دن ڈھلے پیغام کیا دئے

بس ہم تو ایک چھوٹی سی ضد پہ اڑے رہے

دستار کو بچانے میں سر ہی کٹا دئے

آنکھوں میں رہ گئے ہیں فقط آس کے سراب

دریا وہ یاس کے تھے جو ان میں بہا دئے

دن کو سفر کچھ اور بھی آسان ہو گیا

راتوں کو سبز خواب یہ کس نے دکھا دئے

ترتیب سے لئے ہیں تمہارے تمام نام

اک اور ہی فلک پہ ستارے سجا دئے

طوفاں کا روپ دھار لیا تیز سانس نے

اتنا کہ خواب گاہ کے پردے ہلا دئے
