اتنی فرصت نہیں اس پیکر پندار کے پاس
بن کے آئے وہ مسیحا کسی بیمار کے پاس
گر یوں ہی وحشتیں رقصاں رہیں دالانوں میں
کوئی سایہ نہ رہے گا کسی دیوار کے پاس
روز آنکھوں کو نیا طرز سخن ملتا ہے
روز جاتا ہوں کسی یار طرح دار کے پاس
فصل غم دیکھ کے نم دیدہ ہوا چرخ فلک
شاید آنکھیں ہی نہیں آئنہ بردار کے پاس
میری دیوانگی خوابوں سے بغل گیر ہوئی
دشت آباد کیا جب کسی گلزار کے پاس
رنگ و نکہت کے خزانے بھی زمیں بوس ہوئے
چل کے خود آنے لگی خوشبو خریدار کے پاس
اے خیالؔ اپنے ارادوں کو توانا رکھو
مفلسی آتی نہیں ہے کسی فن کار کے پاس
