ایک مدت سے مرے دل کا نگر ہے ویراں

آؤ اس دشت پہ تم پھولوں کی برسات کرو

فصل اجالوں کی سیہ بخت زمیں اگلے گی

زر نگار اپنے ذرا کشف و کرامات کرو

اس طرح مل کے بچھڑنا تو قیامت ہوگا

مشتعل تم نہ مری جاں مرے جذبات کرو

بے نیازی تو ملا کرتی ہے دنیا سے خیالؔ

تم کسی طور نہ تجدید غم ذات کرو
