رقص نیرنگی ہے نظاروں کے بیچ

جی رہا ہوں شعبدہ کاروں کے بیچ

ایک دنیا کو ہے لٹ جانے کا ڈر

ایک ہم ہیں لٹ گئے یاروں کے بیچ

شکوۂ جور و جفا کس سے کروں

پیار سے محروم ہوں پیاروں کے بیچ

ملک و ملت قوم و مذہب دوستو

کیا نہیں بکتا خریداروں کے بیچ

عظمت حوا کا اک اور آئنہ

ہو گیا نیلام بازاروں کے بیچ

اصل رشتہ تو زمیں سے ہے مرا

یاد آیا مجھ کو سیاروں کے بیچ

شوق خود آرائی کے ہاتھوں ہوا

اک ہیولیٰ قید دیواروں کے بیچ

یا الٰہی رحم کرنا آج وہ

آ گئے چل کے طلب گاروں کے بیچ

میرے دم سے ہی ہوئی ہے روشنی

دشت و صحرا اور کہساروں کے بیچ

اے بہار ابر نو جلدی برس

جل رہے ہیں خواب انگاروں کے بیچ

مجھ میں ہے موجود پرواز خیالؔ

معتبر ہوں میں بھی فنکاروں کے بیچ
