داد لوگوں کی گلا اپنا غزل استاد کی

اپنی سانسیں بیچ کر میں نے جسے آباد کی

وہ گلی جنت تو اب بھی ہے مگر شداد کی

عمر بھر چلتے رہے آنکھوں پہ پٹی باندھ کر

زندگی کو ڈھونڈنے میں زندگی برباد کی

داستانوں کے سبھی کردار کم ہونے لگے

آج کاغذ چنتی پھرتی ہے پری بغداد کی

اک سلگتا چیختا ماحول ہے اور کچھ نہیں

بات کرتے ہو یگانہؔ کس امین آباد کی
