آگ اوڑھے تھا مگر بانٹ رہا تھا سایہ

دھوپ کے شہر میں اک تنہا شجر ایسا تھا

لوگ خود اپنے چراغوں کو بجھا کر سوئے

شہر میں تیز ہواؤں کا اثر ایسا تھا
