وہ اک اک بات پہ رونے لگا تھا

سمندر آبرو کھونے لگا تھا

لگے رہتے تھے سب دروازے پھر بھی

میں آنکھیں کھول کر سونے لگا تھا

چراتا ہوں اب آنکھیں آئنوں سے

خدا کا سامنا ہونے لگا تھا

وہ اب آئینے دھوتا پھر رہا ہے

اسے چہرے پہ شک ہونے لگا تھا

مجھے اب دیکھ کر ہنستی ہے دنیا

میں سب کے سامنے رونے لگا تھا
