یوں صدا دیتے ہوئے تیرے خیال آتے ہیں

جیسے کعبے کی کھلی چھت پہ بلال آتے ہیں

روز ہم اشکوں سے دھو آتے ہیں دیوار حرم

پگڑیاں روز فرشتوں کی اچھال آتے ہیں

ہاتھ ابھی پیچھے بندھے رہتے ہیں چپ رہتے ہیں

دیکھنا یہ ہے تجھے کتنے کمال آتے ہیں

چاند سورج مری چوکھٹ پہ کئی صدیوں سے

روز لکھے ہوئے چہرے پہ سوال آتے ہیں

بے حسی مردہ دلی رقص شرابیں نغمے

بس اسی راہ سے قوموں پہ زوال آتے ہیں
