شب گزر کر بھی اندھیرا کم نہیں

شب گزر کر بھی اندھیرا کم نہیں

اس کی زلفیں تو کہیں برہم نہیں

غیر بن کر جب گئے اس بزم میں

ہم نے دیکھا ہم سے وہ برہم نہیں

ہیں نظر میں الجھنیں بھی زیست کی

ورنہ ان زلفوں میں اتنے خم نہیں

پاسبان گلستاں بنتے ہیں اور

امتیاز شعلہ و شبنم نہیں

آج بھی پیاسے رہے تو دیکھنا

بزم میں ساقی نہیں باہم نہیں

ہم سے خاورؔ لاکھ وہ برہم سہی

بد گماں ہم بھی مگر کچھ کم نہیں
