سفر تمام کرو دوستو سفر کی طرح

رکے جو راہ میں ان پر نہ جانے کیا گزری

ہمیں تو دھوپ ہے اب سایۂ شجر کی طرح

فضا فضا جو پریشاں ہیں ابر کی صورت

صدف صدف وہ ملیں گے کبھی گہر کی طرح

غم جہاں کی تپش سے سلگ رہے ہیں بدن

حیات بھی ہے کسی دشت کے سفر کی طرح

کبھی تو آ کہ ہو روشن چراغ شام وصال

مرا بھی گھر نظر آئے کبھی تو گھر کی طرح
