زمین و آسماں سب ایک سے ہیں

ہمارے مہرباں سب ایک سے ہیں

کسے اپنا کہیں کس کو پرایا

جہاں ہم ہیں وہاں سب ایک سے ہیں

جہاں والوں کے ظاہر پر نہ جاؤ

یہ باطن میں میاں سب ایک سے ہیں

نہیں کچھ فرق تجھ میں اور مجھ میں

کہ ہم اہل جہاں سب ایک سے ہیں

نہ کیوں ثابت ہو جرم بے گناہی

گواہوں کے بیاں سب ایک سے ہیں

وہی گزرا ہے دل کی رہ گزر سے

کہ قدموں کے نشاں سب ایک سے ہیں

یہاں کے رہنے والے مختلف ہیں

مگر خاورؔ مکاں سب ایک سے ہیں
