دنیا کو کیا خبر؟ مری دنیا پھر آ گئی

وہ روح ناز و جان تمنا پھر آ گئی

اے روح قیس! تہنیت شوق دے مجھے

لیلیٰ پھر آ گئی مری لیلیٰ پھر آ گئی

اب اور کیا ہے چشم تماشا کی آرزو

وہ آرزوئے چشم تماشا پھر آ گئی

کہتے ہوئے کہ آپ کے صرف آپ کے لئے

سب سے بچھڑ کے آپ کی عذرا پھر آ گئی

روٹھے ہوئے تھے آپ منانے کے واسطے

یہ مجرم گناہ تمنا پھر آ گئی

احباب راز داں میں یہی تذکرہ ہے آج

فرقت زدہ رئیسؔ کی دنیا پھر آ گئی
