کچھ دیر اپنے ساتھ بھی پیارے! بسر کرو

ممکن ہے ذات کا اسی لمحے میں ہو ظہور

اک لمحہ کائنات سے قطع نظر کرو

طیارہ ہائے عہد رواں ہیں صدا شگاف

مثل شعاع نور خلا میں سفر کرو

کب تک معاملہ یہ دماغوں سے شہد کا؟

تاثیر زہر بن کے دلوں میں گزر کرو

کب تک خود اپنے دل میں چبھوؤ گے برچھیاں

نوک سناں سے گنبد بے در میں در کرو

ملتا نہیں مکاں جو شریفوں کے شہر میں

اٹھو طوائفوں کے گھرانے میں گھر کرو
