کتنی ہی بارشیں ہوں شکایت ذرا نہیں

کتنی ہی بارشیں ہوں شکایت ذرا نہیں
سیلانیوں کو خطرۂ سیل بلا نہیں
میں نے بھی ایک حرف بہت زور سے کہا
وہ شور تھا مگر کہ کسی نے سنا نہیں
لاکھوں ہی بار بجھ کے جلا درد کا دیا
سو ایک بار اور بجھا پھر جلا نہیں
ویسے تو یار میں بھی تغیر پسند ہوں
چھوٹا سا ایک خواب مجھے بھولتا نہیں
سوتے ہیں سب مراد کا سورج لیے ہوئے
راتوں کو اب یہ شہر دعا مانگتا نہیں
اس دن ہوائے صبح یہ کہتی ہوئی گئی
یوسف میاں کے سانولے بیٹے میں کیا نہیں

wo shor tha magar ki kisi ne suna nahin
lakhon hi bar bujh ke jala dard ka diya
so ek bar aur bujha phir jala nahin
waise to yar main bhi taghayyur-pasand hun
chhoTa sa ek KHwab mujhe bhulta nahin
sote hain sab murad ka suraj liye hue
raaton ko ab ye shahr dua mangta nahin
us din hawa-e-subh ye kahti hui gai
yusuf-miyan ke sanwle beTe mein kya nahin
