راتوں کو دن کے سپنے دیکھوں دن کو بتاؤں سونے میں
میرے لیے کوئی فرق نہیں ہے ہونے اور نہ ہونے میں
برسوں بعد اسے دیکھا تو آنکھوں میں دو ہیرے تھے
اور بدن کی ساری چاندی چھپی ہوئی تھی سونے میں
دھرتی تیری گہرائی میں ہوں گے میٹھے سوت مگر
میں تو صرف ہوا جاتا ہوں کنکر پتھر ڈھونے میں
گھر میں تو اب کیا رکھا ہے ویسے آؤ تلاش کریں
شاید کوئی خواب پڑا ہو ادھر ادھر کسی کونے میں
سائے میں سایہ الجھ رہا تھا چاہت ہو کہ عداوت ہو
دور سے دیکھو تو لگتے تھے سورج چاند بچھونے میں

aur badan ki sari chandi chhupi hui thi sone mein
dharti teri gahrai mein honge miThe sot magar
main to sarf hua jata hun kankar patthar Dhone mein
ghar mein to ab kya rakkha hai waise aao talash karen
shayad koi KHwab paDa ho idhar udhar kisi kone mein
sae mein saya ulajh raha tha chahat ho ki adawat ho
dur se dekho to lagte the suraj chand bichhaune mein
