خلاف ساری لکیریں تھیں ہاتھ ملتے کیا
جمی تھی چہرے پہ گرد آئنہ بدلتے کیا
ہوائیں راہ میں ڈیرا جمائے بیٹھی تھیں
چراغ دل کو لیے دو قدم بھی چلتے کیا
یگوں سے جسم کے اندر الاؤ روشن ہے
کسی کی آنچ سے میرے حواس جلتے کیا
چلی وہ آندھی کہ جنگل بھی کانپ کانپ اٹھا
کہ ہم تو شاخ سے ٹوٹے تھے پھر سنبھلتے کیا
پڑی کرن تو ندی بن گئی پہاڑ کی برف
وہ ٹھہرے سنگ ذرا دیر میں پگھلتے کیا
ندی کے دونوں کنارے ہیں آس پاس مگر
جنم کے فاصلے تھے قربتوں میں ڈھلتے کیا
