کیا کیا سوچتے ہیں پہلی ہی نظر میں

ملنا ہوا جو اس سے ملاقات سے بڑھ کر

دیار غیر میں اتنی بے سکونی ناں تھی مگر

قربت میں ملے دکھ ، جذبات سے بڑھ کر

انکار تیر ی زباں سے نکلا ہے آج ورنہ

یاد ہیں وہ ادائیں ہر بات سے بڑھ کر

حوصلہ جینے کا دیتے تھے ستم تیرے

مر گئے ہجر میں وفات سے بڑھ کر
