پیمانے میں وہ زہر نہیں گھول رہے تھے

ریاضؔ خیرآبادی

پیمانے میں وہ زہر نہیں گھول رہے تھے

میرے لئے میخانے کا در کھول رہے تھے

میں دیر میں چپ دور سے منہ دیکھ رہا تھا

کس طرح برے بول یہ بت بول رہے تھے

کرتے تھے وہ بیٹھے ہوئے ناخن سے جدا گوشت

کہنے کو مرے دل کی گرہ کھول رہے تھے

صیاد نے کب ناوک بیداد لگایا

ہم اڑنے کو جب شاخ سے پر تول رہے تھے

اے آنکھ در اشک وہی نزع میں کام آئے

بن کر ترے دامن میں جو انمول رہے تھے

ہم بیٹھے تھے کس طرح تہہ شاخ فسردہ

گل ہنستے تھے مرغان چمن بول رہے تھے

شوخی سے قیامت کو وہ پاسنگ بنا کر

ہم کتنے ہیں باتوں میں ہمیں تول رہے تھے

تھے صبح کو وہ ساغر جم دست گدا میں

آلودہ مے شب کو جو کشکول رہے تھے

کچھ چپ سے ہیں اب حشر میں آنے سے کسی کے

بڑھ بڑھ کے ریاضؔ آج بہت بول رہے تھے
