جس سے جو وعدہ کیا پورا کیا

اپنی یادیں اس سے واپس مانگ کر

میں نے اپنے آپ کو یکجا کیا

کاش اس پر چل بھی سکتا میں کبھی

عمر بھر ہموار جو رستہ کیا

صلح کا پیماں کیا ہر شخص سے

اور اپنے آپ سے جھگڑا کیا

عشق میں اک شخص کیا بچھڑا ظفرؔ
