پڑا نہ فرق کوئی پیرہن بدل کے بھی

لہو لہو ہی رہا جم کے بھی پگھل کے بھی

بدن نے چھوڑ دیا روح نے رہا نہ کیا

میں قید ہی میں رہا قید سے نکل کے بھی

تہوں کا شور بھی اب سطح پر سنائی دے

وہ جوش میں ہے تو پھر جسم و جاں سے چھلکے بھی

نئی رتوں میں بھی صابرؔ اداسیاں نہ گئیں

خمیدہ سر ہے ہر اک شاخ پھول پھل کے بھی
