سب ستم یاد ہیں ساری ہمدردیاں یاد ہیں

اس زمیں کے مکینوں کو سات آسماں یاد ہیں

مجھ کو افسوس ہے میں جدا ہو رہا ہوں مگر

اے مسافر مجھے تیری سب نیکیاں یاد ہیں

میں وہاں اب نہیں ہوں تو کیا ہے کہ اب تک مجھے

وہ مکاں اس کے دروازے اور کھڑکیاں یاد ہیں

جن میں برباد ہونے کو جی چاہتا ہے بہت

مجھ کو ایسی بھی چند ایک آبادیاں یاد ہیں

جانتا ہوں ظفرؔ یہ گھڑی بھول جانے کی ہے

پھر بھی سارے شکوک اور سارے گماں یاد ہیں
