تمہیں محبت ہے؟

محبت ہے تو پھر کھل کر کہو

محبت ہے

سات پردوں میں چھپا رکھی ہے

یہ کیسی محبت ہے

نہیں ٹکرانا ہے اگر

تمہیں زمانے سے

تو پھر خود ہی کبھی سوچو

یہ کیسی محبت ہے

اور پھر بھی یہ ضد ، یہ اصرار

کہ

تمہیں محبت ہے

گرہ سے باندھ کر رکھو گی

کوئی پیسہ ہے یہ کیا؟

دل میں چھپا کر رکھو گی

کوئی خیال ہے یہ کیا؟

آس کی آس نہیں

وقت کا تمہیں پاس نہیں

اور پھر بھی یہ کہنا تیرا ہر پل

کہ تمیں محبت ہے

دل میں کوئی اور ، ساتھ کوئی اور

مصلحتیں ہر طرف

راہ میں کوئی اور، منزلیں اور

منافقتیں ہر طرف

اور پھر بھی یہ زعم تیرا ہر پل

کہ

تمہیں محبت ہے

پھر بھی یہ وہم تیرا ہر پل

کہ

تمہیں محبت ہے
