سرفراز زاہد
غفلتوں کا ثمر اٹھاتا ہوں
روز تازہ خبر اٹھاتا ہوں
بات بڑھتی ہے طول دینے سے
سو اسے مختصر اٹھاتا ہوں
ہو کے باشندہ اک ستارے کا
انگلیاں چاند پر اٹھاتا ہوں
چومتے ہیں جسے اٹھا کر لوگ
میں اسے چوم کر اٹھاتا ہوں
اب کہاں آسمان چھونے کو
زحمت بال و پر اٹھاتا ہوں
سوئے منزل میں ہر قدم اپنا
اک فلک چھوڑ کر اٹھاتا ہوں
وار کرتی ہے جب پلٹ کر موج
احتیاطاً بھنور اٹھاتا ہوں
اپنی مفتوحہ سر زمینوں پر
پاؤں رکھتا ہوں سر اٹھاتا ہوں
