ہجوم درد ملا زندگی عذاب ہوئی

دل و نگاہ کی سازش تھی کامیاب ہوئی

تمہاری ہجر نوازی پہ حرف آئے گا

ہماری مونس و ہمدم اگر شراب ہوئی

یہاں تو زخم کے پہرے بٹھائے تھے ہم نے

شمیم زلف یہاں کیسے باریاب ہوئی

ہمارے نام پہ گر انگلیاں اٹھیں تو کیا

تمہاری مدح و ستائش تو بے حساب ہوئی

ہزار پرسش غم کی مگر نہ اشک بہے

صبا نے ضبط یہ دیکھا تو لا جواب ہوئی
