ساعت ہجر تجھے کیسے جہانگیر کریں

پاؤں کے نیچے کوئی شے ہے زمیں کی صورت

چند دن اور اسی وہم کی تشہیر کریں

شہر امید حقیقت میں نہیں بن سکتا

تو چلو اس کو تصور ہی میں تعمیر کریں

اب تو لے دے کے یہی کام ہے ان آنکھوں کا

جن کو دیکھا نہیں ان خوابوں کی تعبیر کریں

ہم میں جرأت کی کمی کل کی طرح آج بھی ہے

تشنگی کس کے لبوں پر تجھے تحریر کریں

عمر کا باقی سفر کرنا ہے اس شرط کے ساتھ

دھوپ دیکھیں تو اسے سائے سے تعبیر کریں
