ہر خواب کے مکاں کو مسمار کر دیا ہے

بہتر دنوں کا آنا دشوار کر دیا ہے

وہ دشت ہو کہ بستی سایہ سکوت کا ہے

جادو اثر سخن کو بے کار کر دیا ہے

گرد و نواح دل میں خوف و ہراس اتنا

پہلے کبھی نہیں تھا اس بار کر دیا ہے

کل اور ساتھ سب کے اس پار ہم کھڑے تھے

اک پل میں ہم کو کس نے اس پار کر دیا ہے

پائے جنوں پہ کیسی افتاد آ پڑی ہے

اگلی مسافتوں سے انکار کر دیا ہے
