کس فکر کس خیال میں کھویا ہوا سا ہے

دل آج تیری یاد کو بھولا ہوا سا ہے

گلشن میں اس طرح سے کب آئی تھی فصل گل

ہر پھول اپنی شاخ سے ٹوٹا ہوا سا ہے

چل چل کے تھک گیا ہے کہ منزل نہیں کوئی

کیوں وقت ایک موڑ پہ ٹھہرا ہوا سا ہے

کیا حادثہ ہوا ہے جہاں میں کہ آج پھر

چہرہ ہر ایک شخص کا اترا ہوا سا ہے

نذرانہ تیرے حسن کو کیا دیں کہ اپنے پاس

لے دے کے ایک دل ہے سو ٹوٹا ہوا سا ہے

پہلے تھے جو بھی آج مگر کاروبار عشق

دنیا کے کاروبار سے ملتا ہوا سا ہے

لگتا ہے اس کی باتوں سے یہ شہریارؔ بھی

یاروں کے التفات کا مارا ہوا سا ہے
