منظر گزشتہ شب کے دامن میں بھر رہا ہے

دل پھر کسی سفر کا سامان کر رہا ہے

یا رت جگوں میں شامل کچھ خواب ہو گئے ہیں

چہرہ کسی افق کا یا پھر ابھر رہا ہے

یا یوں ہی میری آنکھیں حیران ہو گئی ہیں

یا میرے سامنے سے پھر تو گزر رہا ہے

دریا کے پاس دیکھو کب سے کھڑا ہوا ہے

یہ کون تشنہ لب ہے پانی سے ڈر رہا ہے

ہے کوئی جو بتائے شب کے مسافروں کو

کتنا سفر ہوا ہے کتنا سفر رہا ہے
