یہ کیا ہوا کہ طبیعت سنبھلتی جاتی ہے

ترے بغیر بھی یہ رات ڈھلتی جاتی ہے

اس اک افق پہ ابھی تک ہے اعتبار مجھے

مگر نگاہ مناظر بدلتی جاتی ہے

چہار سمت سے گھیرا ہے تیز آندھی نے

کسی چراغ کی لو پھر بھی جلتی جاتی ہے

میں اپنے جسم کی سرگوشیوں کو سنتا ہوں

ترے وصال کی ساعت نکلتی جاتی ہے

یہ دیکھو آ گئی میرے زوال کی منزل

میں رک گیا مری پرچھائیں چلتی جاتی ہے
