وہ اپنی جان بچا لائے تو غنیمت ہے
پھلوں کا آئے گا موسم تو پھل بھی آئیں گے
درخت دیتا رہے سائے تو غنیمت ہے
کبھی تو عمر گزر جاتی ہے نہیں آتی
شعور وقت پہ آ جائے تو غنیمت ہے
کبھی جو درد میں ڈوبی ہوئی صدا ابھرے
سماعتوں سے نہ ٹکرائے تو غنیمت ہے
یہ غم جو اس نے دیا ہے ہنر سے میرے شکیلؔ
مزاج شعر میں ڈھل جائے تو غنیمت ہے
