علم و خودی

شمیم فاروق بانس پاری

جو علم تجھے پاس خودی پر نہ ابھارے

وہ لغو ہے یا لہو ہے یا سہو ہے پیارے

یہ سینۂ ارضی پہ مچلتے ہوئے دھارے

زندہ ہیں فقط ذوق تموج کے سہارے

حیف ایسے مسافر پہ جو اتنا بھی نہ سمجھا

کشتی حرکت میں ہے کہ چلتے ہیں کنارے

گہوارۂ تخریب ہے وہ علم معیشت

شاہیں کو جو تعمیر نشیمن پہ ابھارے

اعجاز خودی دیکھ کہ آہو کے یہ بچے

بھرنے لگے شیروں کے تعاقب میں طرارے

غیرت وہ حقیقت ہے کہ جب ہوتی ہے بیدار

سورج پہ جھپٹ پڑتے ہیں شبنم کے شرارے

jo ilm tujhe pas-e-KHudi par na ubhaare
wo laghw hai ya lahw hai ya sahw hai pyare
ye sina-e-arzi pe machalte hue dhaare
zinda hain faqat zauq-e-tamawwuj ke sahaare
haif aise musafir pe jo itna bhi na samjha
kashti harakat mein hai ki chalte hain kinare
gahwara-e-taKHrib hai wo ilm-e-maishat
shahin ko jo tamir-e-nasheman pe ubhaare
eajaz-e-KHudi dekh ki aahu ke ye bachche
bharne lage sheron ke taaqub mein tarare
ghairat wo haqiqat hai ki jab hoti hai bedar
suraj pe jhapaT paDte hain shabnam ke sharare
