تیرے پاس ہوں پر تجھ سے امان کا ڈر ہے
عشق ہو رہا ہے اب یعنی جان کا ڈر ہے
خامشی بھی دل میں کچھ اس طرح سے ہے قائم
مانو لفظوں کو میرے اب زبان کا ڈر ہے
اب یہاں قیامت کا تو نہیں ہے کوئی ڈر
پر جہان کو تو خود اس جہان کا ڈر ہے
ڈر تو ہر کسی کو لگتا ہے جنگ سے یعنی
ڈر وہی ہے تیروں کا جو کمان کا ڈر ہے
سادگی سے ڈھک بھی لوں گا میں خامیاں اپنی
سادگی کو بھی میری پر گمان کا ڈر ہے

Dar to har kisi ko lagta hai jang se yani
Dar wahi hai tiron ka jo kaman ka Dar hai
sadgi se Dhak bhi lunga main KHamiyan apni
sadgi ko bhi meri par guman ka Dar hai
