خود ہی آجائیں گے کردار، کہانی سے کہو
دل کو بیتاب رکھے، تشنہ دہانی سے کہو
درد کو تھام رکھے، آنکھ کے پانی سے کہو
تم … ذرا دیر رکو…شام سہانی سے کہو
”آج نہ جائے مرے خواب نگر سے واپس
