شبہ طراز
پیڑے بناتی ہوں
روٹی پکاتی ہوں
سالن میں چمچہ گھماتی ہوں
اور سوچتی ہوں
کہ تُو نے تو اب تک
کتنی زمینوں کو
کُن سے فیکون کر کے
خلاوٴں میں پھیلا دیا ہوگا۔۔۔
کتنی زمینوں کو حرفِ غلط کی طرح
یوں مِٹا ڈالا ہو گا
کہ جیسے ۔۔ مرے دل سے یادیں
۔۔۔ ارے ہائے ۔۔ ہائے
یہ روٹی توے پر پڑی جل چکی ہے ۔۔۔ !!
