درد دل کا مرے کچھ گھٹا عندلیب
کوئی نغمہ محبت کا گا عندلیب
ایک بچہ سا من اب مرا لگ گیا
ڈال سے ڈال پر پھر سے جا عندلیب
ہر کوئی بن کے صیاد بیٹھا یہاں
بارہا کہہ رہا لوٹ آ عندلیب
آج صحرا میں اتنی اداسی ہے کیوں
آ مرے پاس آ بیٹھ جا عندلیب
گاؤں سے دور پھر تیری آغوش میں
آ کے میں ہو گیا مبتلا عندلیب
صرف تو اور ارض و سما ہی نہیں
ساتھ تیرے میں بھی رو رہا عندلیب
فصل گل اب کے سوہلؔ فنا ہو گئی
اس برس ہو گئی غم زدہ عندلیب

ganw se dur phir teri aaghosh mein
aa ke main ho gaya mubtala andalib
sirf tu aur arz-o-sama hi nahin
sath tere main bhi ro raha andalib
fasl-e-gul ab ke 'sohil' fana ho gai
is baras ho gai gham-zada andalib
