عکس مسمار کرتا جاتا ہوں

روز اک آئنہ بناتا ہوں

فون کرتا ہوں بار ہا ہر شب

جاگتا ہوں اسے جگاتا ہوں

جب بھی آتا ہے یاد تو مجھ کو

نام تک اپنا بھول جاتا ہوں

کیا عجب ہے کہ تیز آندھی میں

اک دیا سا میں ٹمٹماتا ہوں

وہ کہانی مجھے نہیں ازبر

روز دنیا کو جو سُناتا ہوں

چند خوشیوں کے واسطے جاذب

روز کتنے ہی غم کماتا ہوں
