مٹا کر پھر بنایا جا رہا ہے

ہمیں کوزہ بتایا جا رہا ہے

وہی کچھ تو کریں گے اپنے بچّے

انہیں جو کچھ سِکھایا جا رہا ہے

وہی پانی پہ لکھتے جا رہے ہیں

ہمیں جو کچھ پڑھایاجا رہا ہے

ہتھیلی کی لکیریں ہیں کہ جن میں

کوئی دریا بہایا جا رہا ہے

ہمیں ڈرنا نہیں آتا ہے جاذب

ہمیں پھر بھی ڈرایا جا رہا ہے
