ہوائے تیز کے آگے کہاں رہے گا کوئی

دیے پہ وقت سدا مہرباں رہے گا کوئی

اے دوست ہم بھی زمیں پر دھوئیں کی صورت ہیں

فضا میں کتنا دھواں ہے دھواں رہے گا کوئی

عجیب نقش بنائے ہیں وحشت دل نے

مگر یہ ریت ہے اس پر نشاں رہے گا کوئی

مکان دل کی سبھی رونقیں مکینوں سے

مکین ہی نہ رہے تو مکاں رہے گا کوئی

سراغ لائے گی کتنے نئے جہانوں کا

یہ آگہی کا سفر رائیگاں رہے گا کوئی

جو دل کی جھیل ہی جذبوں سے ہو گئی خالی

تو اپنی آنکھ میں آب رواں رہے گا کوئی

ہم اپنے ساتھ ہی لے جائیں گے جہاں اپنا

ہمارے بعد تو یونہی جہاں رہے گا کوئی
