ادھر میں بھول جاتا ہوں گلی اس کی

میں دریا ہو بھی جاؤں گا تو کیا ہوگا

مجھے معلوم ہے جب تشنگی اس کی

وہ جس کی رات دن تسبیح کرتے ہیں

کبھی دیکھی نہیں تصویر بھی اس کی

جہاں جائے ہمیں بھی ساتھ لے جائے

کہیں بے گھر نہ کر دے بے گھری اس کی

وہ اکثر خالی گھر میں آتا جاتا ہے

کہ جیسے چیز کوئی رہ گئی اس کی

گزرتے وقت کی جب بات کرتا ہے

ہمیشہ بند ہوتی ہے گھڑی اس کی
