میں اک نیا جہان ڈھونڈھتا رہا

بہت سے قافلے ملے تھے راہ میں

میں اپنا کاروان ڈھونڈھتا رہا

نکل گیا جو میں حدود وقت سے

تو مجھ کو آسمان ڈھونڈھتا رہا

ادھر میں در بدر مکان کے لئے

ادھر مجھے مکان ڈھونڈھتا رہا

عجیب شخص ہوں خوشی کا ایک پل

غموں کے درمیان ڈھونڈھتا رہا

مجھے بیان کر رہا تھا کوئی شخص

میں اپنی داستان ڈھونڈھتا رہا
