کسی مسکین کا گھر کھلتا ہے

یا کوئی زخم نظر کھلتا ہے

دیکھنا ہے کہ طلسم ہستی

کس سے کھلتا ہے اگر کھلتا ہے

داؤ پر دیر و حرم دونوں ہیں

دیکھیے کون سا گھر کھلتا ہے

پھول دیکھا ہے کہ دیکھا ہے چمن

حسن سے حسن نظر کھلتا ہے

میکشوں کا یہ طلوع اور غروب

مے کدہ شام و سحر کھلتا ہے

چھوٹی پڑتی ہے انا کی چادر

پاؤں ڈھکتا ہوں تو سر کھلتا ہے

بند کر لیتا ہوں آنکھیں تابشؔ

باب نظارہ مگر کھلتا ہے
