تجھے خبر ہے تجھے ستاتا ہوں اس بنا ہر
تو بولتا ہے تو حظ اٹھاتا ہوں اس بنا پر
مرا لہو میری آستیں پر لگا ہوا ہے
میں اپنا قاتل قرار پاتا ہوں اس بنا پر
کبھی کبھی حال کے حقائق مجھے ستائیں
میں اپنے ماضی میں رہنے جاتا ہوں اس بنا پر
وہ اپنی آنکھوں سے دیکھ کر میرا علم پرکھیں
میں اپنے بچوں کو سب بتاتا ہوں اس بنا پر
اسے بنایا ہے میں نے یہ کم نہیں کسی سے
چراغ سورج کو میں دکھاتا ہوں اس بنا ہر
وہ اس میں رہتا ہے ، اپنا کردار ڈھونڈتا ہے
میں ہر کہانی اسے سناتا ہوں اس بنا پر
مجھے خبر ہے وہ سر تا پا شاعری ہے تیمور
