ایسی ویسی تو میری طبیعت نہ تھی

جیسے بدلی نیت۔ ایسی نیت نہ تھی

یاد کرنے سے جو یاد آتا نہ تھا

کیسے آنکھوں میں اترا جو بھاتا نہ تھا

میری نظروں میں جسکی اہمیت نہ تھی

کیا تھا میں اور کیا وہ مجھے کر گیا

کوئی خوبی نہ تھی جس پہ میں مر گیا

ایسی اس میں کوئی قابلیت نہ تھی

پیار اک قید ہےرہنا اس سے پرے

میں تو اورں کو دیتا رہا مشورے

صرف مجھ پر یہ لاگو نصیحت نہ تھی

پھول کلیوں سے جس کو سجاتا تھا میں

شرم آتی بھی تھی جب بٹھاتا تھا میں

وہ میری جھونپڑی ملکیت نہ تھی

رہن سہن میرا اس کو معلوم تھا

پھر بھی کتنا عنایت وہ معصوم تھا

رحم قابل میری شخصیت نہ تھی
